Shawano Area Writers has elected its new board: Rosie Rey, President; Marilyn Kroenke, Vice President; Wendy Goerl, Treasurer; and Steve Lorenz, Secretary.
SAW extends heartfelt thanks to previous board members Barb King, Tom Thorstensen, and John Mutter Jr. for their service. The group also gives a special shout-out to Steve Lorenz for his excellent work on the 2026 Putz Student Writing Contest.
Writers of all experience levels are welcome to attend SAW meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at Domino’s Pizza in Shawano.
The first month of each quarter is a business meeting. The second and third months are all about writing—sharing, learning, and encouraging one another. Come join us!
